The film adaptation of Naughty Dog's beloved video game has been in the working for over a decade, and has had discussions with a variety of writers, directors, and actors.
The final film ended up featuring Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake and although the film was not a big hit for critics, it did bring in a healthy amount of revenue at the box offices and promises the possibility of a sequel, which means it's likely that more live-action Nathan Drake adventures are on the way in the near future. An upcoming Uncharted sequel isn't the only thing Sony has to do, though.

The Last of Us - HBO TV SeriesWhat could be the next installment by PlayStation Productions is yet another Naughty Dog-inspired adaptation. HBO is adapting The Last of Us with Chornobyl's Craig Mazin and The Last of Us co-creator Neil Druckmann at the helm of the production.
It's the character of Mandalorian Pedro Pascal will play Joel Miller and Game of Thrones actor Bella Ramsey is set to play Ellie Williams, two roles which carry a lot in baggage both because of their emotional arcs and the their characters are for fans.
The show is likely to follow the plot of the game pretty close, however, it could feature new content that could include flashbacks as well as characters who weren't seen on the screen D2R ladder items. The show isn't set with a exact release date, however it is anticipated to debut sometime in 2023.
