Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and production, to conceptualize and implement innovative designs for prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Develop technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, ensuring design feasibility and functionality.
• Conduct user research and analyze feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
• Assist in defining and prioritizing product features, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.
• Prototype, test, and refine designs using CAD tools and physical modeling techniques.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and trends to ensure our products remain at the forefront of innovation.
• Monitor design projects, manage timelines, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Partner with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality execution of designs.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial product design role, preferably with experience in medical devices or related fields.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhinoceros, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and rendering tools.
• Demonstrated ability to take designs from concept to production, delivering impactful products.
• Strong technical understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on creating user-centered designs.
• Portfolio showcasing 3D models, renderings, and design sketches is required for shortlisted candidates.
