Senior Business Executive – Medical Sales

Responsibilities

Sales Objectives and Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed volume and revenue objectives for primary and secondary sales.
  • Drive growth by achieving key product objectives and successfully launching new products.

Territorial Coverage:

  • Ensure comprehensive and effective coverage of the territory, adhering to divisional standards for customer engagement.
  • Regularly validate and maintain customer and account data.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, surgical stores, hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare agents, institutes to ensure business continuity.
  • Understand customer needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.

Promotional Strategy Implementation:

  • Develop and execute promotional strategies while adhering to Vispala policies.
  • Effectively utilize marketing inputs and tools to drive sales performance.

Distribution Management:

  • Manage and develop dealer relationships, ensuring effective distribution operations and strategies.
  • Ensure dealer compliance with Vispala policies and maintain metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Point of Care (POC).

Market Insights and Adaptability:

  • Analyze local market trends, competition, and customer behavior to identify business opportunities.
  • Improvise and adapt strategies to address market challenges and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3–6 years of experience in sales, preferably in medical devices or concept selling.
  • Proven track record in distribution management and dealer operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to understand and respond to market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM tools is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Results-driven with the ability to prioritize and execute business strategies effectively.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and capable of handling complex situations with innovative solutions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively within West Bengal.
  • Strong grasp of market complexities, competition, and customer needs.
