Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and production, to conceptualize and implement innovative designs for prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Develop technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, ensuring design feasibility and functionality.
Conduct user research and analyze feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
Assist in defining and prioritizing product features, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.
Prototype, test, and refine designs using CAD tools and physical modeling techniques.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and trends to ensure our products remain at the forefront of innovation.
Monitor design projects, manage timelines, and report progress to stakeholders.
Partner with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality execution of designs.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial product design role, preferably with experience in medical devices or related fields.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhinoceros, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and rendering tools.
Demonstrated ability to take designs from concept to production, delivering impactful products.
Strong technical understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on creating user-centered designs.
Portfolio showcasing 3D models, renderings, and design sketches is required for shortlisted candidates.
